· California Golden Degree Awards:
o Alexis Morales, Burgette Sator, Connie Lopez, and Jasmine Orellano received their Chapter Degrees (1st level) and only 87 students in California received this award.
o Roxanne McCullough was 1 of 6 California members to receive her State Degree (3rd and highest level).
· Competitive Events:
o 7th-9th grade, junior division: Our Entrepreneurship team, Alexis Moralesand Jeena Spears, won 1st place in. Tabitha Freeman won 2nd in Interior Design.
o 10th-`13th grade, senior division:Burgette Sator won 1st place for National Programs in Action. Our Food Innovations team, Concepcion Lopez, Jasmine Orellana, Roxanne McCullough, won 2ndplace.
· Scholarships: Aliza Fuller received 2 of the 4 scholarships, the Black Kelly Scholarship and the Future Home Economics Teacher Scholarship.
· Advisor: Ms. Baker was 1 of 7 California advisors honored with the Region Star Advisor Award.
· Chapter Awards:
o The chapter won 2nd place for Honor Chapter Award and
o received gold level for the Chapter Superior Award.
